Come and debate on the future of Greater Paris the Metropolis of Grand Paris

Paris Métropole
As from the month of June, Paris Metropole is organising a series of thematic debates though out the metropolis entitled  "Mongrandparis". Citizens are invited to talk about their expectations of the metropolitan process underway and will be able to raise any specific issues which play a part in forming the identity of Grand Paris on the collaborative platform of mongrandparisjenparle.net.
“A world metropolis”, “an innovative and  enterprising metropolis”, “a sustainable metropolis”, “a socially inclusive metropolis” and “a metropolis for its inhabitants”. These are the five themes around which twenty or so great citizen debates will be organised  by Paris Métropole and chaired by Patrick Devedjian.
The first dates are as follows :
  • 28th May in Montfermeil (in partnership with Clichy-Sous-Bois, Vaujours and six other neighboring communes).
  • 1st June in Lilas (Paris, Est Ensemble),
  • 6th June in Saint Denis (Pleine Commune),
  • 17th June in Courcouronnes (with the Department Council of Essone)
  • 22nd June in Sceaux (Department Council of Hauts-de-Seine, Hauts-de-Bièvre, Sud de Seine, etc.),
  • 22nd June in Arcueil (the community of the Val de Bièvre conurbation),
  • 26th June in Rosny-sous-Bois (Fontenay, Neuilly-Plaisance, Neuilly-sur-Marne),

On the occasion of these great citizen debates Apur proposes that you download, free of charge, the Primer of the future of the Metropolis of Greater Paris – Grand Paris – Notebook 2 a metropolis in all its dimensions, published under the aegis of the Planning and Promoting Mission of the Métropole de Grand Paris and co-published by Apur and IAU Île-de-France.  Along with the first volume of this publication Apur makes a detailed diagnostic of the metropolis and examines the projects already underway using them to paint a portrait of what the territory will look like in the future.
In the past few years Apur has compiled an unprecedented documentary body of information made up of maps and studies and has also drawn up a selective and thematic bibliography of its studies with the aim of contributing to a common culture of the issues that will addressed during the various public debates.
