On 17th December 2009 the first Paris Métropole Forum took place. It was attended by public authority members of Paris Métropole and Grand Paris consultation teams but also experts, associations, business people, union members, artists and local inhabitants.

In the context of this event which assembled over 600 people, the Apur and the  Île de-France Urbanism and Development Institute  the IAU-IDF ordered an analysis note from the 10 Grand Paris International Consultation teams  aimed at carrying further reflection on the exchanges with members of Paris Métropole.

During the Forum, representatives of the 10 teams were able to dialogue with the public in the 3 thematic workshops: 'Living in the Metropolis of Tomorrow', Metropolitan Mobility' and 'For Solidarity and Durability in the Metropolis'.
