In the context of the Shanghai World Expo 2010 the French pavilion organised a conference  called  “Paris Île-de-France, a River, a Territory, a Way of Life”, from 12 to 17 July in partnership with the City of Paris, the Île-de-fFance Region, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Île de-France Urbanism and Development Institute IAU-IDF and the Apur.

Yannick Beltrando,  head of the Apur Métropole department and the IAU-IDF, organised and co-led the third day, entitled “A Harmonious City in a Sustainable  Territory”, covering the lessons to be learnt from the Grand Paris International Consultation on the gamble of developing Greater Paris.
