The Apur contributes to the debate with a brief summary of the work resulting from international consultation on “le grand pari(s) de l’agglomération parisienne”; the issues involved in developing the Greater Paris Region.
Over a nine-month consultation period, ten multidisciplinary teams produced nearly 6000 pages and a vast number of proposals. It is important to examine, understand and integrate this work. This brief summary endeavours to help reader comprehend this abundant and creative production, and enter into and participate in the debate and exchange of views. It highlights five guiding ideas that facilitate a cross-reading of the teams’ work, and analyses fourteen significant proposals relating to the current issues at stake.
