In 2009, the Apur conducted a thermographic survey of 505 Parisian buildings at the request of the City of Paris. At the same time, the City of Paris commissioned a considerable number of energy performance diagnoses with a view to encouraging apartment owners to undertake energy saving renovation work on their property (the co-ownership “Copropriété objectif climat” scheme and the Scheduled Scheme to improve the energy and thermal performance of buildings in the 13th district).
In the light of these many documents and in association with departments of the City of Paris (the Department of Housing and Habitat, the Urban Planning Department, the Department of Heritage and Architecture, social housing organisations (la Régie Immobilière de la Ville de Paris, Paris Habitat, la Société de Gérance des Immeubles Municipaux) and private investors (La Mondiale, Gécina), the Apur has produced a series of analysis reports describing how building construction has evolved in Paris and analysing the energy performance of the different periods.
