Académie du Climat

At a time when crises—climatic, social, and economic—are multiplying, metropolitan areas are facing unprecedented challenges and growing uncertainty. In this context, imagining, planning, and implementing urban development is proving to be both more complex and more essential.

At a conference organized by the Sciences Po Urba association, we invite you to explore these issues through the diverse perspectives of practitioners in the field. Two case studies, Bordeaux and Paris, will shed light on the practices and strategies implemented by urban planning agencies and metropolitan areas in response to contemporary crises.

To discuss these topics, we are pleased to welcome:
•    Nathalie Bouchain, Director of Urban Planning for Bordeaux Métropole
•    Patricia Pelloux, Deputy Director of Apur
•    Simon du Moulin de Labarthète, Director of A’urba
