This map represents the recent and future development of the structuring public transport network. It shows:
- recent new services and those to be introduced very shortly (between 2020 and mid-2024),
- projects already underway (scheduled to come into service between the second half of 2024 and 2030),
- and more long-term projects.
In addition to the 68 new Grand Paris metro stations (M14, 15, 16, 17, 18), 4 existing metro lines are involved in an extension project (M4, M10, M11, M12), 10 tramway lines should see the light of day or be extended, an urban cable-car line will be put into operation, an RER line will be extended and numerous projects for high quality bus services (Bus Rapid Transit) will be run throughout the metropolis.
Journeys linking all areas within territories should be greatly improved by the creation of numerous bypass lines and the complementarity of various modes of transport being made available in Grand Paris.
