Three new natural swimming sites on the Seine (Marie branch, Grenelle branch, and Bercy) will be open from July 5 to August 31, 2025, in Paris. Four swimming sites on the Marne will also be available for several weeks during the summer of 2025 (Maisons-Alfort, Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, Champigny-sur-Marne, and Joinville-le-Pont), as well as a special swimming event on the Marne in Nogent-sur-Marne.
A major legacy of the Paris 2024 Games and the result of collaboration between the Regional Prefecture, the Greater Paris Metropolis, the City of Paris, and local authorities in conjunction with DRIEAT, Haropa Port, and VNF, these swimming areas offer opportunities for relaxation, refreshment, recreation, and sport.
