The present situation and challenges for each commune:
Constructed at the beginning of the 19th century the Canal de l'Ourcq supplies Paris with non-drinking water. Today it offers great potential for a major transformation of the heart of Seine Saint-Denis, half of the land along its banks would be able to accommodate medium term development projects, which would contribute to forming a new landscape. In this study Apur has put together and presents a diagnosis of development potential along the 12 kilometres stretching from Paris to Sevran, which aim to federate the key players around a shared and coherent vision of the canals future.
