After the numerous studies carried out on the circular railway line - la Petite Ceinture - since 2001, and in preparation for the signature of a new agreement between the City of Paris and the national rail company SNCF on the future of the site, it was necessary to revise the inventory of the state of the 32km of railway line and its bordering land and banks, an area which is intended to be opened to the public on a short term basis.
This document, drawn up in the context of Apur’s partnership programme, gathers together all known aspects of the site and shows its potential to evolve section by section, each in accordance with its specific characteristics and urban environment.
