Claude Dargent elected Managing Director of Apur

 

 

 

Following the municipal elections  the Apur Board of Directors met on the 23rd June 2014 and nominated Claude Dargent as the new Managing Director of Apur.
A  Paris City Councilor of the 15th district since 2001, he has been Managing Director of the Transport Commission since 2002. As such he represents the City of Paris in Impacts, an association which brings together  large European cities  around the subject  of public transport.  Teacher of economic and social sciences, Doctor of political science, Claude Dargent is professor of sociology at Paris University VIII in Saint Denis and also teaches at Science Po. As member of the National Committee of Scientific Research, he has published numerous works including as a great many articles in social science reviews.
The Board of Directors also nominated as treasurer Christophe Najdovski, Deputy Mayor of Paris responsible for Transport, Roads, Travel and Public Space, as well as Daniel Guiraud, President of Paris Métropole and Mayor of Lilas, as Deputy Managing Director.
To close the nomination proceedings Claude Dargent and Judith Shan, Vice-President of'Apur since June 2010 and Regional Councilor, were mandated to represent Apur in the proceedings of the Fnau (National Federation of Urbanism Agencies).
As a result of the renewed mandates of Parisian representatives in the Apur proceedings the Board of Directors is now made up as follows.
Finally the Board of Directors  and the General  Assembly  approved the 2013 accounts, examined the 2012/1013 activity report and agreed on an addition to Apur’s 2014 Partnership Work Programme.
