Documentary on young people in Paris
Apur included a study on young people in Paris in its 2012 / 2013 partnership programme in liaison with the Paris department for youth  - Mission Jeunesse and the City of Paris Direction de la Jeunesse et des Sports-.
Stage 1:
First documents : diagnostic elements, paths of reflection and “clickable maps” of the 12th, 13th and 19th districts.
Stage 2:
Apur wanted young people to express themselves in a documentary: “Young people in Paris: faces, territories, trajectories”. The panel is made up of ten young people aged between 15 and 25, girls and boys, young women and men,  at school or working, living in Paris or in the suburbs. The 26 minute film made up of their accounts is organised into three main chapters:
  • The map and territories
  • Public space and Urbex (the city young people dream of)
  • Paris,  metropolis?
Stage 3:
The work to follow will deepen the relationship with public space, with its new uses and the important issue it represents  for young people, by placing young people  in the context of co-producing:
  • workshops about Youth Zone land use map
  • “tool box” for reflecting on ways of evolving public space.
