Dominique ALBA nominated Director of Apur

Anne HIDALGO, 1st Deputy to the Mayor of Paris responsible for urbanism and architecture, Chairman of the Parisian Urbanism Agency, announced at the outcome of  the Board of Directors' vote on 31st January 2012, the nomination of Dominique ALBA for the post as Director of the Parisian Urbanism Agency – Apur - as from the 1st February 2012.

The Board of Directors voted unanimously in favour of her nomination.
Dominique ALBA thus succeeds François ROL-TANGUY, General Engineer of the public body for bridges, water and forests - Ponts et des Eaux et Forêts- who following his demand to leave his position as Director rejoined the General Council of the Environment and Sustainable Development on 1st February 2012.
In September 2008, Bertrand DELANOÊ and Anne HIDALGO wanted to renew and reinforce the managing team of the Parisian Urbanism Agency in order to accompany the new municipal term of office, the increasing importance of Paris Metropole and to address the challenges of a sustainable city. François ROL-TANGUY was at that time nominated as Director and Dominique ALBA as Assistant Director.
By this nomination, the Board of Directors chose to continue and confirm  the course of action laid down in 2008, notably the metropolitan impetus given by Apur. As an architect, Dominique ALBA has also been the General Director of the Pavillon de l'Arsenal since May 2003
