In line with the objectives defines in the Master Plan and in close relationship with the Ile-de-France Regional Establishment of University Development - EPAURIF - Apur, in 2016, accompanied two COMUE PSL higher educational establishments in their reflection on property development: The École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Paris -MINES ParisTech- and the Observatoire de Paris-Meudon.
In this study one can read about the urban context of the two establishments and it shows how a synergy between the city and educational establishments is possible on the condition that their visibility be improved and that they are given their place in urban space. The second part of the study presents the conditions which would enable the two establishments to evolve and their potential for transformation and adaptation to the PSL needs and ambitions.
