The economic fabric of the station neighbourhoods on the Grand Paris metro L15W
The future Grand Paris Express Line 15 West will connect 11 stations, from Saint-Denis Pleyel to Pont de Sèvres.
In 2012, 282,000 people were employed in the 11 station neighbourhoods along this line, representing the highest number of jobs in all seven sections of the future network.
More than half these jobs are concentrated in the two station neighbourhoods situated within the perimeters of La Défense (La Défense and Nanterre La Folie).
Four station neighbourhoods offer a majority of executive jobs in the service activities. Two neighbourhoods focus more on industrial and back up (industry, logistics…) jobs and two others on public services. The remaining three neighbourhoods are more diversified.
Over the last fifteen years, the neighbourhoods of La Défense and Saint-Denis Pleyel have been the most dynamic in terms of construction, in particular of offices.
