Renovation of communal areas in this NPNRU Parisian neighbourhood
All the key players who have for many years been involved in the Orgues de Flandre site agree that it should be transformed to improve the everyday life of those living there, to make better use of communal spaces, to provide better public facilities and to create the necessary conditions for it to be integrated better in its neighbourhood. Based on this observation, Apur was commissioned by the City of Paris, to carry out an urban study within the framework of studies included in the NPNRU feasibility study protocol.
Apur made this study following a workshop method, which permitted inhabitants and managers of the sector to become involved from the initial stage of defining the challenges and issues up to making development proposals.
This document presents the work method and the results which should enable, in the years to come, the reform of the way the heart of the complex functions around a new green space which would highlight the qualities of this remarkable housing scheme.
