The study is based on a quantitative and cartographic as well as a qualitative approach, using semi-directive interviews conducted by a panel of professionals with Parisian families with different profiles. 768 measures or points of care were identified concerning support for those with parental responsibility in the territory of Paris, concentrated in the north-eastern districts of Paris.

This study identifies the obstacles blocking action and brings to light some initial ways of improving support for parents in Paris, one of which is that families be better informed about existing support schemes, another, an overall need for networking and professional training.

This study was carried out with the support of the City of Paris and the Paris Social Security and Child Benefit Office -CAF de Paris-.
