This document contributed to establishing an economic, social and urban diagnostic of Paris in the context of its Local Land-use Plan, PLU.
As a supplement to an analytical assessment report of the overall territory, it brings updated and an in depth insight into the city and the neighbourhoods of which it consists.
Presented in the form of an atlas it shows each district : a historical introduction of how it was formed, a map of its urban framework conveying the architecture and unbuilt areas which make up the landscape of streets ; a socio-economic approach which provides the essential information for understanding the district in terms of its housing, population, activities and the housing-employment equilibrium; a presentation of urban life, with facilities, shopping streets, travel, everything which makes up a neighbourhood's life and finally a summary of the advantages and drawbacks of local life in the district.
