Taking into account the age of buildings in Paris (75% residential buildings were built over 50 years ago), substandard housing requires constant surveillance. In 2018, 245 Parisian buildings showed signes of degradation. Carried out in liaison with the City of Paris Department of Housing and Living Conditions (DLH), this initiative is part of an operational approach to monitor residential buildings and carry out preventative measures against their deterioration. The aim is to offer guidance to a small part of the property monitoring procedures carried out by municipal services, thus enabling administrative intervention to take place as early as possible, and avoid the downward spiral of new buildings falling into insalubrity.
