The Metropolis in all its dimensions and projects underway
The second notebook of the Primer of the future of the Metropolis of Greater Paris – Grand Paris -, put together by APUR and IAU Ile-de-France under the aegis of the Planning and Promoting Mission –Mission de Préfiguration- was published on Friday 23rd january 2015.
The first notebook, completed in September 2014, contributed to the pre-planning diagnostic phase laid down in the law for the modernisation of public territorial action – MAPTAM.
This second volume describes the “metropolis in all its dimensions”, taking into consideration the national, international, regional and local context in which it is placed.

The regional and supra-regional environment.
Projects underway in the territories.
Notebooks 1 and 2 make up an unprecedented, metropolitan documentary basis which nourishes the process of planning the future metropolitan project.
