On the 7 hectare land plot between Boulevard Victor Hugo and Place Garibaldi in Saint-Ouen, the future Saint-Ouen Grand Paris-Nord University-Hospital Campus (CHUSOGPN) is planned to replace the Bichat Hospital (Paris 18th) and Beaujon Hospital (Clichy) by 2028.

Since the project was launched, many preparatory studies have been carried out. This study aims to make an analysis of the territory involved and the future health care needs in the North Parisian area.

The questions the study will help to answer are the following: What will the demographic and social dynamics be in 2040/2050? What health care and medical demography will there be for what needs? What projects and changes in the territory (urban projects, mobility and transport etc.)? What impact will the birth rate and ageing have on health care needs? What impact does the social gradient and differences in the use of health care have on current and future health care needs?
