Situated on a land plot of over 7 hectares in Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, the future Saint-Ouen Grand Paris Nord University-Hospital Campus (CHUSOGPN) is planned to replace the Hospitals Bichat (Paris 18th district) and Beaujou (Clichy ) by 2028. Close to the hospital, a university site will bring together several research and training units.
This study draws up the state of play of the territorial, demographic, social and health data concerning areas around the site whose populations will make up the patients admitted to the future campus. It examines the demographic and social forecasts on a time line up to 2040/50, the trends of available healthcare and medical dcmographics as well as projects and changes in the territory (urban projects, mobility and transport, etc.) which could affect the healthcare needs in the sector.
The analysis covers a wide area around Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, that corresponds to the catchment area of the future hospital. Fifteen Municipal Communes are included in the study with comparative data on the scale of the Metropolis and Ile-de-France : Paris 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, Clichy, Saint-Ouen, Argenteuil, Asnières-sur-Seine, Aubervilliers, Colombes, Gennevilliers, Levallois-Perret, L’Ile-Saint-Denis, Saint-Denis and Villeneuve-la-Garenne.
The document is divided into four parts. The first, outlines a summary of the future hospistal's medical project. The second, examines the current healthcare provision. The third, draws up the socio-demographic and healthcare diagnosis, updated within the selected area. The fourth, concludes by summarising the challenges raised by the study.
