Tracking changes in the Boulevard périphérique and Green Belt districts from October 2024 to February 2025

With the speed limit reduced to 50 km/h as of October 1, 2024, the transformation of the Boulevard Périphérique is gathering pace. The Apur has analyzed and mapped these changes, as well as their impact on the residential neighborhoods in the communities bordering the infrastructure, to take account of the urban transformations to come - the conversion of gateways into squares, the construction of new facilities, the planting of over 50,000 trees - and the mobility changes to come - the introduction of the reserved lane on March 3, 2025.

Based on data supplied by the Direction de la Voirie et des Déplacements, the Direction de la Transition Écologique et du Climat de la Ville de Paris and Airparif and Bruitparif, this atlas reviews the results of 5 months of 50 km/h speed limits, looking at trends in traffic, speed, accidents, congestion, air quality and noise in the immediate vicinity of the Boulevard périphérique.
