Train Station Workshops

actualité - idées et débats - Les ateliers de la gare

The Train Station Workshops bring together experts, development and operational professionals, politicians, journalists and clients to debate and construct the station of tomorrow.

At each meeting a different theme is brought to the fore.

The first Train Station Workshop of its second season was held on 19th January2011, at the Cité de l’Architecture & du Patrimoine Museum at the Palais de Chaillot, on the theme "A train station, an environment for living and development in Île -de-France" (find below the complete report).
On this occasion, Francis Rol-Tanguy, Director of the Apur, spoke of the role of Parisian high speed train -TGV- stations as centres of equal importance to airports necessitating the creation of links between the two.

The next Workshop meeting will take place on 2nd March with the theme "Train stations: temples of technology".
