Three years after the implementation of the Urban Contract for Social Cohesion (CUCS), an appraisal was conducted by the Apur on the initiative of the City of Paris and the State.
It is based on a series of surveys and assessments carried out with stakeholders and residents. A CD-Rom, available on-line, summarises the results.
It highlights positive changes relating to the renovation of neighbourhoods within the Great Urban Renewal Project -GPRU-and the strengthening of the infrastructure network.
It also shows that significant social problems still persist, heightened by the economic crisis.
In addition to presenting the assessment results, it describes the transformations carried out in each of the neighbourhoods.
It is supplemented by publications from the Observatory of priority neighbourhoods in Paris.
