Tbilisi, Georgia (2011)
Development plan for an area covering approximately 90 hectares in the heart of the Georgian capital. This contract was won by a consortium bringing together the Apur (authorised representative), Systra (engineering and consulting firm, subsidiary of the Paris City transport authority Ratp and the French Rail company Sncf) and Spectrum (the Georgian engineering and consulting firm). The Spanish firm EXA (experts in real-estate issues) is also involved, having been subcontracted by the Georgian railways’.
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (2008-2011)
Setting up a methodology to assess projects for Rio de Janeiro's city centre (technical, urban planning, economic, social, financial and institutional aspects), applicable to other urban development areas in the city. Contract with the IDB (Inter-American Development Bank).
In the context of decentralised cooperation with Rio, the Apur has also carried out the following missions:
• Rio de Janeiro mission report, 5th to 12th September 2009. Assistance with project management. Urban renewal of Rio de Janeiro’s city centre.
