On 26th May 2015 at the Caisse des Dépôts in Paris, FNAU (National Federation of Urban Planning Agencies), VTIF (Ile-de-France Towns and Transport), and ACUF (Association of Urban Communities in France), have organised a conference: Motorways and cities - (im)possible reconciliation? Under what conditions can urban highways become the way to developing a new metropolitan model?
Numerous illustrative projects for urban highways in France and abroad will be presented. Patricia Pelloux, director of studies at Apur, will speak principally about the experience of developing the Seine embankments in Paris.
