Since 2017, the Urban School and the Center for European Studies and Comparative Politics have partnered with the Société du Grand Paris to study the urban and planning policies carried out in the metropolitan areas of Greater Paris, Greater London and from New York City.

This collaboration is punctuated by a monthly seminar and an annual symposium open to practitioners, researchers, students and citizens interested in the urban, social and economic transformation of these three. major international cities.

After the success of the first annual symposium in February 2018 and bringing together more than 200 people around the issues of the development of the station areas of the three metropolitan areas, Sciences Po and the Société du Grand Paris decided to look for this second edition on the land and property strategies in place in the three agglomerations.

In a context of real estate and real estate price growth observable in the three metropolises, the objective of this symposium is to examine the multiple strategies determined and realized by the public and private actors involved in the management, the valorization and the multiple forms of land: built or undeveloped land, air land, or even deep.

Stéphanie Jankel, urban planner at Apur, will present "Diagnosis and realization of the Metropolitan Plan for Housing and Accommodation in Greater Paris".
