Data from the Social Housing Application National Registry System make it possible to calculate the number of households that apply for social housing within a municipality. An application is systematically described based on a household’s 1st choice of residency to avoid double-counting. Another precaution when reading, households already occupying a property in the social housing stock who want to move house are counted among the applicants. The map reveals the intense demand at the heart of the metropolis.
