It is with sorrow that the Apur staff heard about the death of Max Querrien. He was one of the founder members of Apur. Between 1966 and 1967, Max Querrien, Director of Architecture at the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, was one of the “Committee of Four”, a group of senior officials who met with the Prefect of Paris, Maurice Doublet, who was responsible for initiating the creation of the Paris Urbanism Agency, Apur.
For Dominique Alba, Managing Director of Apur, “Max Querrien contributed to creating an independent structure, a tool that is both technical and interactive, enabling communication between the key urban players who construct the city and imagine its future. This vision is the agency’s fundamental purpose and we have been committed to it for over 50 years”.
