For the second consecutive year a team from Apur, made up of around ten runners, participated in the 16th ”La Parisienne “ race, on the 9th September.
Participants in the race were 100% women and were encouraged by their colleagues all along the 6 kilometre circuit that looped around the Seine. The race gathered 28,000 women this year and will contribute to collecting funds for cancer research programmes.
Apur's sports season has only just begun : the next ”sports rendez-vous” is on Sunday 7th October with a team, mixed this time, participating in the ODYSSEA-Paris running or walking race to raise funds for The Gustave Roussy Cancer Institute. All the money raised will be given to a research programme on personalised treatment for breast cancer.
