The Rabat-Salé Urbanism Agency (AURS) launched an open international call for tender with preselection at the end of 2007 offering a prize for the drawing up of a unified development plan (PAU) for the cities of Rabat and Salés. The reviewing of development plans, instigated by the AURS, is part of a more global approach involving all the urban communes of the Rabat conurbation. Drawing up new PAU for Rabat and Salé was assigned to the Paris Urbanism Agency (Apur) and the PAU for Temara jointly to Philippe Panerai and Apur.
