Parisian senior citizens, wide disparities from one district to another

étude - têtière - Les seniors parisiens, de fortes disparités selon les quartier

In 2007 the population of Paris was younger than in France as a whole. However, in the 5th, 6th and 7th left bank and the 16th western districts, the proportion of people aged 60 and over was higher than in Mainland France. In these districts the elderly most often lived alone. Their living conditions (housing and income) were more favourable than in other districts of Paris. In certain northern and eastern districts, particularly, housing conditions were more difficult for people of 60 and over.
