On January 19th - 20th, 2016, Apur organised a presentation to its partners of the work it undertook in 2015 within the partnership work programme for that year, which was attended by almost 200 professionals over the two days.
January 19th focused on changes in the existing fabric and the evolution of urban metabolism at both a Parisian and a Metropolitan level
1/ changes in the existing fabric: overview of habitat and housing in Paris, transformation of offices into accommodation, raising building height, service rooms/activation of building stock: densification, new usage, new tools;
2/ work related to adapting to climate change and new ways of using public space/renewal of methods concerning public space: 7 Parisian squares/vegetation: study of green walls/evolution of the road network: metropolitan boulevards and main road network/reform of water management;
3/ major urban services, transport and energy/evolution of major urban services: waste, recycling and logistics/mobility: road network, south Paris bus network and metropolitan cycle lanes/local energy plan.
January 20th focused on social and economic changes in Paris and the Metropolis
4/ indicators and the Grand Paris Metropolis/benchmark for the economy and attractivity of metropolises/quality of life in the Metropolis;
5/ station neighbourhood observatory/health/economic fabric/cultural spaces;
6/ social and economic development/commercial diagnostic of Paris, observatory of International Tourist Zones (ZTI)/the arc of innovation on the periphery of Paris’ city limits -arc de l’innovation- and new geographical priorities /reinventing the Seine.
