Participation by Apur at the Conference “Planning and water in the city”

Conference “Planning and water in the city”
On Tuesday, 22 November, the architect Frédéric Bertrand presented Apur’s work on the Metropolitan and Parisian management of rainwater at the Conference on the Management of Rainwater at the Maison de l’ Architecture. Apur’s studies published in 2015 present a forward-looking vision of the place of alternative resources for drinking water in an urban context and give an understanding of how they are taken into consideration now and could be in the future, on different scales.
The Conference was organised in partnership with Ekopolis, a resource hub in Ile-de-France for planning and sustainable construction, and the Seine-Normandy Water Agency, and covered several topics: water management and types of ground, the importance of the relationship between planners and technical services, possible tools and funding for local authorities, issues of rainwater management at a metropolitan level…
This Conference was aimed at local authorities, water, urbanism and planning professionals, and offered the opportunity to give feedback and share experiences.
