A significant increase of executives in the outskirts of Paris -les Portes de Paris-
Between 1999 and 2015, the proportion of executives in MGP rose from 24% to 32%. This rise was lower in territories that initially accommodated the least amount, in the north-east of MGP.
The presence of executives living in areas has tended to grow in neighbourhoods where access to public transport is easy and inversely has decreased in areas less well served by public transport where there never were very many.
This social evolution has for the most part taken place in the established housing stock. In sectors effected by building programmes for new housing, the arrival of incomers forms a new sector of the population and contributes to a diversification of the inhabitants’ profile.
